I’ve always been a natural caretaker leading me into the medical profession at the age of 17. While working as a critical care nurse in the Trauma/Surgical/Burn Intensive Care Unit I had the privilege of caring for patients recovering from surgery. After receiving report from certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), I became curious about their role. Shortly after I shadowed a CRNA in the operating room and knew that was my goal. Clinically, I enjoy being able to meet my patient’s individual needs according to their medical history and surgical procedure to have a great experience. I take pride in my job when patients wake up comfortable and pain free in recovery. I like being the person to explain the anesthesia options and put patients at ease the day of surgery.
I’m adventurous and spontaneous. As a wife and mother, I’m committed to my family. We are always together when I’m not working. We love to travel, explore outdoors, run our farm, and are food connoisseurs. I love cooking and have recently started baking.
